Animal Tags
All dog and cats that are four months of age living with in the City must have a City tag. Tags should be on the animal at all times. The animal control officer can get wayward pets back with their owner by using these tags. You can obtain tags at City Hall for the following fees:
- Unaltered dog / cat - $4
- Altered dog / cat - $1
Adoption Fees
We charge a $35 adoption fee for cats and dogs. $25 is refundable after proof of spay or neuter is shown.
Pound Fees
There is a $10 impoundment fee and $1 per day care charge. Owners claiming their pet should bring rabies vaccination record, which is required before release.
